LeEco is a company that is known to push the boundaries of mobile hardware. The Chinese manufacturer is all set to do that again with its upcoming Le 3 Pro flagship. A new photo of what appears to be the hardware specs sheet of the new flagship has popped up online, revealing a gargantuan 8GB of RAM on board.
This is quite insane when you consider how 3GB of RAM was considered good enough a couple of years ago. The Le 3 Pro will be sold in two variants, apparently. One with 6GB of RAM + 128GB of storage and the other with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of onboard storage. That’s notebook level hardware right there.
The base model will be packing a 5.5-inch Full HD (1920×1080) display, while the top end variant will be sporting a 5.7-inch Quad HD (2560×1440) display on board. In the camera department, the high-end variant will have a 13MP rear camera and a 16MP front camera (not an error), while the other model will have a 16MP camera on the back and an 8MP sensor on the front. The two devices will have a 4,070 and a 5,000mAh battery on board, so the standby times will not be a problem for the customers.
Both phones are running Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 821 SoC under the hood, which means that performance will not be compromised. With just under a week left for the announcement of these handsets, we are quite curious to see how they would fare in the markets.
