With recent bugged reports of twitter closing down a count fully large number of Twitter accounts it’s again back to the headlines as it is set to roll out a virtual red carpet for the first annual Twitter Awards to appreciate and celebrate the creative work of the advertising clients all over the world. The company said the awards are an attempt to recognize the advertisers who have risen above the competition over the past years.
Twitter will unveil and list the work of the advertisers in a category of six—with one gold, two silvers, and three bronze prizes handed out for each category.
The live award will recognize the campaigns that best used Twitter to connect to the people worldwide live during the events, television, and global moments.
The impact award is aimed at recognizing the campaign that delivered the best ROI results, while the scale and creativity awards are directed at recognizing the campaigns that generated worldwide engagement.
Twitter will also recognize and appreciate businesses that excelled the bar at using Twitter for customer service and business management that used Twitter ads to grow and expand. Award winners will also receive a special digital presence at the Twitter headquarters. The panel of judges will include industry experts and executives from agencies who are the pioneers in the arena of advertising.
