After the long wait, OnePlus has finally started rolling out Marshmallow firmware updates for its OnePlus 2 smartphone in India. There are some usual bug fixes, however, the new OxygenOS 3.0.2 update also makes remarkable improvements to the camera and the fingerprint sensor.
Apart from the usual Android Marshmallow goodies that the update holds, there is also an improved camera UI. Moreover, OnePlus has removed Maxx Audio and included Dirac HD Sound. The fingerprint reader gets more accurate as well.
OnePlus 2 features a 5.5-inch FHD IPS panel. Under the hood, it’s rocking a Snapdragon 810 SoC. paired with 4GB of RAM. The device gets 16/64GB storage variants. For optics, the device gets a 13MP primary camera and a 5MP selfie camera. Powering the device is a 3300mAh battery. The device also sports a USB Type-C port.
OnePlus had recently released the Marshmallow update for its OnePlus One. With OnePlus 2 joining the Marshmallow bandwagon, OnePlus X remains the only OnePlus device without Marshmallow.
